Flood in Budhigandaki washes away 35 houses in Chumanubri

Kathmandu, October 11 A flood in the Budhigandaki River, which flows through Gorkha’s Chumanubri Rural Municipality, has washed away 35 houses in Paiyu and Bagar villages. According to Chumanubri Rural Municipality Deputy Chair Laxmi Gurung, there was extensive damage in Dobhan, Ghattekhola, Jagat and Sallery villages. Locals fled to safety after floodwaters entered the villages
